The Wye Valley & Forest of Dean will feature on national television once again on GMTV’s “Beach Body Boot Camp” – a diet and exercise programme, which runs for several weeks and attracts some 40,000 on line participants as well as millions of viewers.

The selected five will be staying at Tintern Abbey Cottage, owned and run by our member, Fiona Wilton. The programme is to be filmed between 21 May and 12 June in and around Tintern, and will be broadcast on and after those dates including live transmissions. Activities, which are co-ordinated by Visit Wales, include cycling, canoeing, walking and other activities in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Our own John Bosley took time off his secretarial duties, and wearing his Tour Guide’s hat, took the producer around various possible locations.

Set your TV to record so as not to miss what promises to be an interesting few weeks!
