The Forest of Dean Morris Men are hosting the 39th Forest of Dean Morris Festival on Saturday 12th June and Sunday 13th June.

Eleven sides {Teams} from around the country have accepted our invitation for the week-end travelling from as far as Mersey, Southport, Leeds (Yorkshire), Leicester, Bedfordshire, Northampton and Cardiff.  Together with the Forest of Dean Morris Men and Wimberry Cloggers (local sides) they will be touring and dancing at venues around the Forest.

Saturday starts with all sides dancing at Coleford Town Centre 10:00 – 11:00 am then dispersing on three separate tours, dancing for approximately an hour at each venue, as follows:

 Tour A  

11:15   The George, St. Briavels 

12:30   The Anchor, Tintern       

14:45   The Cock Inn Blakeney   

16:00   Railway Inn, Newnham 

Tour B  

11:15  The Rising Sun, Mosley Green

12:30   Miner’s Arms Whitecroft

14:45   The Ostrich, Newland

16:00   The Boat, Penallt

Tour C

11:15   The Red Lion, Westbury-0-Severn

12:30    The Red Lion, Huntley

14:45    The Cross Weston-u-Penyard

16:00    The Malt Shovel, Ruardean

There will be a Sunday Massed dance at the Dean Heritage Centre Soudley from 11:00 to 12:00 noon.
