Visit the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean

Places to stay, things to do, good food and drink

Our last general meeting at the International Centre for Birds of Prey

Jemima Parry-Jones, who has an MBE for her services to birds of prey, runs her International Centre for Birds of Prey  just outside Newent and very kindly invited us to hold our final meeting of this season at her centre.   We were treated to an amazing flying demonstration first and I heard several accommodation providers saying that, now they have seen it, they are going to recommend all their guests to go their too.

Handlers on the flying demonstration

You can see great pictures of the birds in flight on the ICBP site.

Thanks to Jemima – if you are in the area, make sure you schedule at least half a day for a visit – you won’t be disappointed.
