This summer enjoy an evening of enchanting open air theatre at the stunning location of Goodrich Castle. In a picturesque spot with views over the Wye Valley, the castle provides a magical backdrop for two theatre productions in August, so bring a picnic, wine, a blanket (just in case!) and friends and enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars in Herefordshire.   

Love in Shakespeare 

Join the cast of Heartbreak Productions as they tell the story of one man’s journey through love and romance as depicted through an assortment of the Bard’s great plays. Enjoy colourful observations on the highs and lows of the emotional rollercoaster that is love, interwoven with music and dance.

Time: Gates open 6.30pm for picnics, performance starts 7.30pm 

The Secret Garden 

The Secret Garden tells the poignant tale of a proud and headstrong girl as she discovers some of life’s lessons as a consequence of stumbling upon her Uncle’s secret garden. Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic tale will be brought to life by Heartbreak Productions. Suitable for age 6 and upwards.
