The Wilton Court Restaurant with Rooms at Ross-on-Wye has been awarded ‘Silver Winner’ within the ‘Guest Accommodation Restaurant with rooms’ and ‘Taste of the Heart’ for the Wilton Court Mulberry Restaurant categories of “The Heart of England The West Midlands Region Excellence in Tourism Awards 2010” held at The Great Hall at the University of Birmingham on the 21st October. The awards ceremony covered 21 categories that brought together the best within the West Midlands , drawn across Birmingham , Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire . The awards were presented by Bob Warman Senior Presenter for Central News.
The Wilton Court was also announced Highly Commended ‘Restaurant of the Year’ and finalist in ‘Breakfast of the Year’ in the ‘Flavours of Herefordshire’ Awards held at Hereford Race Course on the 22nd of October . The ceremony Awards presented by TV celebrity chefs the Hairy Bikers.
On learning of the hotel’s latest success Roger and Helen Wynn commented “It is extremely gratifying to have been ‘Silver Winners’ for two consecutive years in two categories in the “Heart of England Awards” particularly as the competition is extremely tough and the standards are incredibly high.
