At the recent English & Welsh Wine of the Year Competition, held at Plumpton College in E. Sussex, Parva Farm Vineyard won yet more awards for their wines.  This is the largest national competition for wines produced in the U.K. and is judged to an international standard so awards are much sought after by the vineyards of England & Wales.

With only 8 gold awards  made throughout the whole competition. Colin & Judith Dudley of Parva Farm were thrilled to be awarded a silver medal for their Tintern Parva Bacchus 2011- a dry white.  They also picked up bronze medals for their Tintern Parva Bwthyn Rhosyn (pinot noir rose) and Bacchus 2010 (medium dry white).

Colin says “These awards prove we are up there with the best of them!”.  He also suggested that it is worth visiting the vineyard at Tintern in the Wye Valley to try the wines and find out how good they are.

Wine tastings at the vineyard are free and as they produce many different wines there should be something to suit all tastes!
