Hosted at the Speech House by local activity providers and hoteliers, the festival will showcase both indoor and outdoor activities for all of the public to enjoy from 10am-5pm. From clay pigeon shooting and archery to cookery and photography, there is something guaranteed to grab your eye and spur on a new active hobby that will encourage a healthy lifestyle.

There will be added opportunities to get out and into the forest for specialist guided tours on how to build dens using all the resources the local wildlife has to offer! A perfect activity for children to learn from and take home with them.

With the ideas and plans for the event developed by the local attendees of meetings at the venue itself, the outcome is expected to be a perfectly tailored day of live music, demonstrations, entertainers and taster sessions. You can also expect to see Welsh rugby footballer for London Irish, Ian Gough opening the event!

So whether you are a local resident or a visitor to the area why not come down for not only a day with a difference but also to support the local economy and tourism trade of the Forest of Dean.
