Welcome to the First Wye Valley River Festival!

An exciting opportunity to celebrate nature, culture, landscape and life along the River Wye. Like the nature of the river, events flow downstream starting from Hereford ending in Chepstow as communities contribute to the lively and thought-provoking programme.

4 May – Ross-on-Wye: River Pageant & Town festivities take over the town

5 May – Lydbrook: Tump Fete and exhibition at Garden Cafe

9 May – Monmouth: The Great Outdoors 2014 symposium: Exploring Partnerships

9 May – Monmouth: The Trial Part 1 chase & capture – an exciting activity for all the family!

10 May – Monmouth: The Trial Part 2 – street & courtroom drama – fabulous performances gripping audiences around the town

11 May-  Llandogo: Community Picnic and Fire Show in a full day of entertainment

16 May – Chepstow: Wye Oh Wye! A fantastic musical celebration 

17 May – Brockweir: Life in a River Port – come and witness the village returning to its interesting past

17 May – Tintern: talented performers come together for their Goosebumps and Gothic shows

18 May – Chepstow: an awe-sinpiring Festival Finale and Fireworks to top it all off
