Medium Dry White from 2013 – Tintern Parva Afon Gwy – silver medal
Rose wine from any year – Tintern Parva Bwthyn Rhosyn 2013 – silver medal
Red wine from any year – Tintern Parva Ty Coch 2013 – bronze medal
The presentation of the awards will be held at the Vintners Hall in London on 22nd July.
Colin Dudley commented “It is wonderful to receive awards for all our 2013 wines- it was a really good vintage & makes up for the disappointingly small harvest we had in 2012 due to the bad summer that year.”
2014 is looking promising for the Dudleys so far – with an early spring & good weather in June, the vines are flowering earlier than usual. If the summer weather remains good, there should be another bumper crop.
