2. Spring into activity with Speech House Hotel
The Royal Forest of Dean is a spectacular location to visit at springtime. During the early season you can witness a more open landscape as the trees have shed their leaves leaving breathtaking views through the canopy. Stay a minimum of two nights in Speech House Hotel and enjoy the great outdoors on their activity package: one day cycling the many forest trails followed by and trek fit on day two with nordic walking. A beekeeping course with a difference; looking at the relationship between humans and bees and more sustainable, bee friendly ways of keeping and caring for them. Suitable for those with no prior experience of beekeeping! Participants will: meet the bees with a hands-on look at a honey bee colony, learn basic bee biology and ecology, about being a beekeeper, pollination, the history of beekeeping and more! £180. Sat 28 & Sun 29 March 2015
