Hidden amongst 14 acres of grazed farmland with stunning views of the Gloucestershire countryside, the Tudor Farmhouse restaurant offers a varied and imaginative menu based on the seasons. Wild food is foraged from the hotel grounds and fruit and vegetables from the hotel’s kitchen garden.
The new Farmhouse Rooms are in the original part of the building which dates back to the 16th Century and they still retain many of the historical features : beams, sloping floors etc. They were the first rooms converted when the farm became a B&B in 1983 and one of the rooms, The Byre, is in fact the old cow shed. All have nespresso machines and fridges, some have roll top baths with separate walk-in showers.
Louise fuses a sense of the vintage with a contemporary twist in her day and evening wear collections, She brings a fresh look to the old classics. All Louise Pocock Millinery hats are unique pieces made using a variety of materials including peachbloom felt, silk, panama and parisisal straw, sinamay, leather, suede and tweed. This includes detailed theory behind the process of brewing and ingredients used, recipe development explanation, hands-on brewing experience and tasting session of classic local ales.
