Activities for Easter 2015

It’s nearly time to go searching for eggs left by everyone’s favourite fluffy fellow…



30th March – 6th April – Easter Egg Hunt at Puzzlwood – Search the woods high and low, the Easter Bunnies have dropped them everywhere! Gather up the clues, collect your prize and at the same time enter the Easter Competition to win an Annual Pass for a family of 4 to Puzzlewood.

3rd April – 6th April – Animal Easter Safari Trail at The Kymin – Follow the clues and hunt for hidden animals of the world in their family safari Easter trail. Prizes and fun to be had by all. Admission: Adult: £3.00
Child: £1.50 and £1.50 per trail.

3rd April – 6th April – Re-Opening Event  –Reopening at Hot Pot Pottery on Good Friday! To celebrate their 2015 opening, you can now paint an Easter egg cup at just £8pp (normally £9.50) or £15 for two. The pieces will be ready for pick up Easter Sunday and there’s a prize for the best egg…

6th April – Easter Eggspress Spend your Easter with Wye Dean for this ‘eggsellent’ event taking place at Winchcombe Station. Meet the Easter Bunny and take part in lots of fun Easter activities and competitions including egg and spoon races and Easter egg rolling. Adult £16, child £7.

6th April – Easter Monday Family Day at Chepstow Racecourse  A day of children’s entertainment including the fantastic Panic Circus, Archie’s Easter egg hunt, a bungee run, Kate’s Country School, face painters, ‘roaming reptiles’ animal handling experience, bouncy castles, Cardiff City soccer skills, and lots more. Entry ticket for £22, family ticket for just £29 (two adults and children). In support of GWENT Feature County.

Until 10th April – Paint Your Own – Paint your own rabbit egg cup, plate, or egg shaped trinket box at Mary Rose’s gallery. Mon-Fri 9-5 and Sundays 11-5, £25pp. 

6 April – Bluebell will be opening at 12.30 pm on Easter Monday for an Easter special. They will be serving Traditional afternoon Teas and Clotted Cream Teas until 4.30 pm. Booking is advisable.
