Join Forest of Dean and Wye Valley for a really special guided vineyard tour on Saturday the 23rd of May to kick off Welsh Wine Week. The tour includes a visit to two award winning Vineyards in Monmouthshire: Ancre Hill Estates near Monmouth and White Castle Vineyard near Abergavenny.
Visitors will first visit Ancre Hill Estates which is a bio dynamic vineyard with its own winery. Owner Richard Morris will give a tour of the vineyard followed by a tutored wine tasting of at least 7 of their magnificent wines.
After the visit, you will head to White Castle Vineyard where you will be greeted with canapés before heading out to tour the vineyard with owner Robb Merchant.
After the vineyard tour, sit back, relax and enjoy a fabulous 3 course cold lunch at the vineyard prepared by award winning caterers, Plant2plate. Claire from Plant2plate is pulling out all the stops for this lunch which will include local produce from Trealy Farm, Black Mountains Smokery, Penrhiw Farm, Caws Cenarth and more. We will have a tutored wine tasting of White Castle wines with our lunch.
We hope you can join us for our Wonderful Welsh Wine Adventure.
