Newly published is a 28 mile circular cycle route exploring the lanes of north west Gloucestershire around Newent.
The route starts in Newent and includes the following attractions:
- The “golden triangle” where the springtime meadows are full of wild daffodils.
- St Mary’s Church at Kempley, a Norman church with 12th century wall paintings.
- The Chartists cottages at Stauton
- Hartpury Church and bee shelter.
The map, published by Newent Cycling Group, can be downloaded and is available from shops and garages in the Newent area.
