This year the Sculpture Trail located in the Forest of Dean, will be welcoming some new arrivals. Four brand new sculptures will be unveiled from March through to July, just in time for the summer holidays.
The ‘Sentient Forest’ installed in March, is the first exciting new sculpture. Created by Andrea Roe, the sculpture is an interactive light sculpture that is motion triggering and reveals the secret fungus networks that run across the Forest floor.
Other sculptures that have arrived this March include ‘Charcoal Lines’ by Onya McCausland and to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Sculpture Trail two major sculptures will be installed later this year – more information to follow on that.
Be sure to visit and experience free talks, family activities and catch a glimpse of the new sculptures. Read more here.
