Arts in the Marches, Summer Sculpture Exhibition

Arts in The Marches are delighted to be working in collaboration with Taurus Crafts on a second “Summer of Sculpture”.

In 2015 Taurus Crafts established the first joint sculpture exhibitions, featuring the work of sculptors from Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the Welsh Borders. In 2016 they are extremely pleased to confirm that some of the favourite artists from last year are returning, plus some exciting new editions.

Returning sculptors include Caro Burberry, (bronze resin) Diane Ree,(3D portraits)  Victoria Westaway (willow) and ArdynGriffyn plus blacksmith Stephen McRaewith his kinetic steel sculptures and Alan Richardson who presents a new array of eccentric driftwood items.

This year the exhibition will showcase three new established blacksmith’s Claudia Petley and Paul Shepherd and DavidPreston; plus new comer Sandrina Gay who is exhibiting her enchanting copper works for the first time. Di Philipson’s fused glass and Frances Warren’s work made from recycled materials “not just a load of old junk” will also be on display.

‘This exhibition is the accumulation of months of hard work and creativity from these ten sculptor-artists and in total makes for an eclectic mix of eye catching works for your garden or home, at prices for every pocket.’Says Frances Warren of Arts in the Marches

The exhibition runs from May 28th until October 2nd, at various locations around Taurus Crafts; including the courtyard, garden, Wonderpod Garden, and the café and it is FREE to enter!
