Places to stay, things to do, good food and drink
In celebration of the Tour of Britain cycle race visiting the Forest of Dean for the first time in the events long history Taurus Crafts offers a free cup of filter coffee when cyclists arriving on a bike buy any of their delicious cakes.
As a venue often frequented by local cyclists, visiting club riders and those with bikes on cars heading off to the trails, Taurus Crafts sees all types of cyclists and welcomes them to their Lydney based arts and crafts visitor centre. Throughout the duration of the Tour of Britain the young at heart can explore the centre’s Bike PART Trail.
Colourful bike parts are displayed around the Taurus Crafts site – the aim is to find them all and match the colours. The trail takes place from 27th August until the 11th September. The trail is free to take part in and all entries will be included in a prize draw.
