Christmas Market Success

Building on the success of the last 12 years of busy Christmas Markets, Taurus Crafts will be running three weekends of markets instead of two during the festive period. Over the first three weekends in December, the onsite makers and creative businesses will be joined by over 30 independent traders along with lots of locally-grown fresh cut Christmas Trees to create the area’s largest choice of gifts that are not available on the high street.

Taurus Crafts said ‘The markets are the highlight of our year at Taurus Crafts, it’s when we get the most visitors and when we have the most handmade and local products on sale. In many ways it’s a showcase of creative talent in the region and a chance to meet many of the makers themselves.’

The on-site craft, artisan and creative businesses all spend weeks and weeks getting stock ready for the Christmas period and it’s a vital income for the local maker’s onsite. So come along and support the local DeanWye talent and visit traders at the Christmas market; you are sure to find all you need to celebrate Christmas in style! The markets are free to enter and open from 10am until 5.30pm. Based just outside Lydney on the A48 the large car park is free so visiting couldn’t be easier.
