Après Ski at The Angel Hotel
Located in the courtyard, The Angel Hotel’s pop-up bar brings the atmosphere of an Alpine Ski Lodge to the heart of Abergavenny. The Après Ski Bar is a cosy spot to celebrate winter with friends and family.
Full of festive charm, it offers a range of seasonal tipples and hearty snacks.
Kick start the festive season at the Après Ski Bar Opening Party on Saturday 26th November.
The bar will then be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout December:
Fridays 5.00pm to 10.00pm
Saturdays 12.00pm to 10.00pm
Sundays 12.00pm to 9.00pm
This is a spectacular event and really popular with children and adults alike. The wonderful seasonal scenes tell the story of Evie who finds a toy aeroplane in her Christmas stocking early on Christmas Morning and then her adventures begin.
The Christmas Fantasy runs from 26th November to 24th December 2016 and 27th December to 3rd January.
This year entry is by pre-booked ticket; you can book the timed tickets in advance through our website. £10.00 for adults or children, including a quality gift for children between 2 and 14 years old. Visiting Aunt Martha’s Victorian Restaurant is already an experience where you are transported to the year 1897 in an instant, but imagine what it would be like to dine in a Second Dynasty Egyptian Temple?
Aunt Martha is looking to now transport her guests to other eras with the creation of three new intimate and exclusive dining areas including the Oriental Tea Pagoda, Ancient Eygpt and the British Empire. Through working with both camera and computer Ian creates images that seek to challenge traditional conceptions of photography and painting. Techniques and understandings from both fields – such as the layering of colour or the interplay of light – are used to produce images that capture the spirit/essence of the locality.
