Great Pottery Throw Down returning to screens on Thursday 2nd Feb!

Following the successful ‘Great Pottery Throw Down’ TV programme in 2015, it is set to return to our screens on Thursday 2nd February 2017. Hosted by Sara Cox the popular programme will see a number of everyday people battle it out to create the best pottery pieces based on a specific brief.

In celebration, Hot Pot Pottery will be running its own mini competitions! Although this won’t be the first time; last year Hot Pot Pottery ran mini pottery competitions and saw a huge increase in the amount of people interested in classes due to the show.

However they won’t be ‘throwing down’ the technical challenge! But…they will be entering any pots made in their popular Pottery Trial Classes while the programme is running into an independently judged competition to win a second FREE two hour Pottery Trial Class at Hot Pot Pottery.

Pottery is an excellent ‘escapism’ activity to enjoy either by yourself or with loved ones. So book in and get creative and don’t forget to tune into BBC2 on Thursday 2nd February at 8.00pm to get some pottery inspiration!
