Hot Pot Pottery Gallery and Tea Room: Opens for 2017 Easter Weekend

Hot Pot
The tea-room & gallery space re-open Easter weekend to join the year round bookable pottery trial classes and they will be open ALL EASTER WEEKEND (Friday – Monday). After Easter, norma opening hours are Friday – Sunday apart from the summer hols when they add in Thursdays.

Have a Hot Cross Bun, butter & jam & cuppa tea/coffee promotion on Good Fri – just £3 per person.

Fri, Sat & Sun people can book spaces to come in and paint Easter Egg Cups, Cute Easter Bunnies (or anything else from their pottery painting range!) and all will be fired and ready for pick up on Easter Monday. Prices are £5 per person to paint PLUS the cost of the piece chosen (prices range from £4.75-£10).

On Easter Saturday children can be booked in to give Easter Cookie making & baking a go, where they will have a fun time mixing up a cookie dough, cutting Easter Egg shapes and cooking and decorating them, plus having a little bag of cookies to take home (or just eat….!). The cookie baking is for up to 6 children, and £5 per child from approx 11am – 1pm.

There will be some spaces to take part in pottery trial classes over the weekend but these need to be booked in advance. They won’t be available on a drop in basis. They are £27.50 for a fun 2 hour session having a go at 3 pottery techniques with lots of help and encouragement. At the end of the class participants get to choose any favourite pieces that they would like to leave for glazing & firing and these can either be collected or couriered (at a cost of £15 to one UK address) once they have been glazed and fired. This is usually done every 5-6 weeks.
