Eastnor Pottery, in Herefordshire will be hosting a fun-fuelled evening of potter’s wheel fun for couples wishing to get dirty on the most romantic day of the year.
Partners will be assigned a wheel, taking turns to make love pots and funny shapes. The ‘best’ ones will be fired, glazed and ready for collection from the Pottery a month later – a permanent reminder of a truly memorable Valentine’s Day.
Eastnor potter Sarah Williams explained how the event evolved:
“We have one of our customers to thank for the idea. She’s a mum with young children and a regular at our Children’s workshops and Family drop-ins. She mentioned that her husband would love to do some pottery but because of work commitments can’t visit in the day. Evenings would be easier for him to fit around. She even came up with the title…Wine & Wheel…..Brilliant!! So here it is – the perfect Valentines activity for couples looking for a unique and creative alternative to the romantic meal for two”
Although complementary tea and coffee will be available, participants are encouraged to bring their own alcoholic drinks.
The cost is £50 per couple. The workshop runs from 8pm ‘til 9.30pm and places are limited to 8 couples and are expected to fill up quick. To book your Patrick & Demi Experience, call Eastnor Pottery on 01531 633886 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
